Research Module 3:
Vulnerability to Heat Stress

The main research responsibilities for Research Module 3 are the analysis and projection of medical and urban-wide vulnerability to heat stress including provision of observational data of heat-stress risks.

Research Module 3 consists of two sub-projects:

3.1 Medical Vulnerability
Quantification of heat stress for specific groups of patients and analysis of medical actions (therapies) for reducing heat-stress risks of patients highly sensitive to indoor heat-stress hazards.

3.2 Urban Vulnerability
Quantification of urban-wide vulnerability to heat stress including socio-economic conditions influencing hazard exposure, sensitivity and vulnerability and analysis of actions for reducing heat-stress risks by reducing urban-wide vulnerability.
